By default, the signotec Signature-Pad Alpha comes pre-configured for the use via the WinUSB port connected to a computer. There are two different operating modes when connected via USB: WinUSB and HID. Without WinUSB, the device works in the slower HID-mode. You must install the WinUSB driver for fast data transmission.
